"The inspiration for this project was to build the first inclusion database to connect Content Producers in the entertainment industry with a global network of talented Crew. WHAT IT DOES: A subscription-based web application which includes a geolocation, searchable database of members who create and manage their own profiles. The application was built with a proprietary number of tools that includes, but not limited to: a way for each member to manage their own profiles that also acts as their single-page, public webpage (with the ability to upload their own photos and post their video reels), a rating & reporting system, messaging engine for member-to-member communications & invitations, and a way to organize members into groups that produce printable Crew Lists. Behind-the-scenes is a custom Content Management System for administrators to manage all memberships, payments, reporting, customer service, content, and email blasts -- also powered by the same technology as the frontend. HOW YOU/YOUR TEAM BUILT IT: We began the development in ASP.NET Core 2.0, on top of an MS SQLServer database and Elastic Search 6.0 for the backend, with custom-coded HTML5/CSS3/JS, supported by the Bootstrap 3 framework for the frontend. By launch date, it has been upgraded to ASP.NET Core 2.1 and Bootstrap 4. WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF: - The entire project is powered by an all-woman team. - The website is mobile-friendly and optimized for smaller screens and lower bandwidth. - Achieving the goal of helping the industry crew-up. A little bit about this site

Hello, I'm Corstiaan. I'm a software developer from the Netherlands and I manage BuiltWithDot.Net. I created this site as a place where developers working with .net technology can showcase their projects and inspire other developers.

There's so much you can build with .net these days that I thought it would be nice to have a corner of the web dedicated to the breadth of .net. Enjoy!

What is the .net community working on?
