"Statusmonitor is a web app that monitors 3rd party status pages in a single dashboard with Slack notifications. 💡How and Why? With more and more software products that rely on 3rd party services and API's, knowing when they are experiencing issues or downtime is important. I've been in a situation where I was investigating a live issue, and after hours of investigation, diagnosing and looking at log files, I eventually discovered it was related to a 3rd party service. 👨‍💻Tech Built on asp.net core 2.1, C#, Razor Pages and SQL Server. Nothing too fancy. The only fancy thing is, its running on Docker. 💬Slack App I felt that a dashboard may not be enough, and some form of alerting such as email and SMS would be beneficial. SMS and email notifications are okay, although SMS might be intrusive, and emails can be drowned and lost amongst other emails. How about Slack? This is how the Slack App was born. "
