Screenshot for .net desktop app Simple Data Logger

"Simple Data Logger is a PC-based data logging application. It connects to devices like measuring instruments (e.g. scales and balances) or barcode scanners and writes the received data to a CSV file, optionally adding date and time. The generated files can later be opened in Excel and other spreadsheet applications for further processing and visualization. SDL currently supports the following connections: RS-232, USB (virtual COM port), Bluetooth SPP and Ethernet (TCP client). We have chosen the .NET framework mainly because of its good support of RS-232 connections (in recent releases) and for licensing considerations. Easy deployment as a ClickOnce application was another factor (it allows us to easily push updates to test users). WinForms was used as it allows rapid development of the UI and is fully sufficient for this simple application."

A little bit about this site

Hello, I'm Corstiaan. I'm a software developer from the Netherlands and I manage BuiltWithDot.Net. I created this site as a place where developers working with .net technology can showcase their projects and inspire other developers.

There's so much you can build with .net these days that I thought it would be nice to have a corner of the web dedicated to the breadth of .net. Enjoy!

What is the .net community working on?
