"Too many applications are built with inconsistent "plumbing code" driving up support complexity and impacting delivery velocity. What it does: CodeFactory for VisualStudio enables architects & dev leads to auto-generate & implement consistent design pattern adherence across the entire dev team. How you/your team built it: Cracked open the Visual Studio API and wrote an SDK tool allowing authors to build their own automation and a runtime client that consumes/interacts with CodeFactoryeXtension (CFX) files. Challenges you/your team ran into: The Visual Studio API is a beast - this took a lot of work. Accomplishments that you/your team is proud of: Demonstrated at DotNetConf a use case that auto-converted an ASP.net webform project to Blazor. Video of this on our website and the template is open source and well documented on GitHub, What you/your team learned: We won't be the main source of automation ideas. The creator community is more able to meet the ever-changing needs and the SDK enables a maker-space community. What's next for this project? We are focused on adoption and gathering automation scenario ideas from the community. "

A little bit about this site

Hello, I'm Corstiaan. I'm a software developer from the Netherlands and I manage BuiltWithDot.Net. I created this site as a place where developers working with .net technology can showcase their projects and inspire other developers.

There's so much you can build with .net these days that I thought it would be nice to have a corner of the web dedicated to the breadth of .net. Enjoy!

What is the .net community working on?
