"Spoons is a side project I whipped up for Android (iOS not yet released) in Xamarin Forms 3.1 using a local SQLite DB for a friend of mine who suffers with chronic pain. I had some very limited Xamarin experience, and come from UWP background. They already use the "spoon" method to budget their activity levels and manage their pain and energy. Spoons assists them in making their own to do list of up to 12 spoons a day to manage energy levels. Planning your day ahead of time saves vital energy as decision making which is rushed and last minute can be tiring. At a glance you will see that your days activities are going to be manageable as they will be within your spoon allowance. There is even the option of adjusting your spoons allowance for the day if you have had a previous busy day, poor nights sleep or are having a flare up. Making choices ahead of time will empower people to feel confident making plans and give a sense of control to manage chronic illness. I'm told it is already helping my friend, I hope it can help others too."

A little bit about this site

Hello, I'm Corstiaan. I'm a software developer from the Netherlands and I manage BuiltWithDot.Net. I created this site as a place where developers working with .net technology can showcase their projects and inspire other developers.

There's so much you can build with .net these days that I thought it would be nice to have a corner of the web dedicated to the breadth of .net. Enjoy!

What is the .net community working on?
